Patrick Smith is a professional pickleball player known for his aggressive playstyle, exceptional teamwork, and remarkable career trajectory. Born and raised in Munich, Germany, Patrick grew up playing tennis under the guidance of his father, honing the skills that would later define his pickleball success. His talent earned him a full scholarship to the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), where he excelled as a Division I tennis player and was named Men’s Conference Player of the Year in 2010.After completing his undergraduate degree with majors in Pre-Med, German, and Liberal Arts, along with a minor in Business, Patrick pursued a master’s degree in Business Administration, with a double emphasis in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Post-tennis, Patrick was introduced to pickleball in 2019 by fellow professional Jay Devilliers at Chicken N Pickle. His transition to pickleball was seamless, and he quickly established himself as one of the sport’s most competitive players.Patrick is celebrated for his aggressive net play, strong volleys, and strategic shot placement.
